pop-quiz on the U.S. education system

American Fulbrighter Offers a Presentation on Computer Assisted Learning in U.S. School Systems: On March 15, 2005, PD Tel Aviv held an interactive program on computer assisted learning at the American Corner Beersheva, hosting Ms. Kim Frumin, Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence, Ben Gurion University of the Negev. Ms. Frumin shared her personal experiences of serving as a teacher in New York's school system with a group of two dozen students from the Reger Junior High School in Beersheva. Ms. Frumin opened with an overview of the American school system, described the "typical" American school day and offered a list of fun facts about American schools. She also introduced the students to the joys of an American-style "pop-quiz" on the U.S. education system. Ms. Frumin presented samples of her students' projects of computer assisted learning in the format of short animated films and PowerPoint presentations of research projects.
