On March 8, 2005, PD Tel Aviv held the last in its series of Black History Month DVCs at the American Corner Beersheva, hosting author and activist Dr. Elbert Ransom, Jr., an Adjunct Professor at the Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria. Dr. Ransom shared his personal experiences of serving as an aide to the late Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr. with a group of students from the Hillel student association at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
